Description

The C/K is the name for Chevrolet and GMC's full-size pickup truck line from 1960 until 1999 in the United States. The first Chevrolet pickup truck appeared in 1924, though in-house designs did not appear until 1930. "C" indicated two-wheel drive and "K" indicated four-wheel drive. The aging C/K light-duty pickup truck was replaced with the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra names in 1999 in the US. A new, more modern look came in 1967, along with a new nickname: "Action Line". It was with this revision of the C/K truck that General Motors began to add comfort and convenience items to a vehicle line that had previously been for work purposes alone. MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present the handsome, custom 1967 GMC Short Bed Pickup you see pictured. This particular pickup has been recently restored, both cosmetically and mechanically, and looks stellar. Finished in green, the paint is a Kelly green on the top portion of the truck and a lighter green along the rocker panels, with a single orange stripe separating the two colors. The paint appears to be very new and we are hard pressed to find imperfections! The body is exceptionally solid and looks incredible. The bed of the truck has been lined with Line X, making the bed extra durable. There is a roll-pan bumper in the rear of the truck to give the truck a more sleek appearance. Inside, the interior has also been completely restored. The seat is wrapped in gray cloth that shows no signs of wear or imperfection. The black carpet is also in excellent condition and shows no signs of wear. The door panels and roof are color matched to the exterior of the truck and look excellent. The dashboard is also color matched and has a full set of custom gauges and with a metal bezel around them that look great. Under the center of the dash sit a pair of Autometer gauges that monitor the oil pressure and water temperature as well. There is a custom sound system installed in the truck with the JVC AM/FM/CD/Aux player hidden in the glove compartment. Under the hood, you'll find an exceptionally tidy and clean engine bay. A massive 396 cubic inch Big Block Chevy V8 is the power house under the hood in this truck. Attached to the engine is a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. The truck sits upon a 12 bolt Posi traction rear end and a set of 18" 5-spoke Ridler wheels wrapped in P235/55R18 tires in the front and P265/60R18 tires in the rear. This truck is equipped with power front disc brakes. The VIN is CS1570DZC3413A and the mileage currently shows 3,516, which represents mileage since restoration. It is being sold on a clean and clear Kansas title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
