This little 1987 GMC S15 pick up truck has gone through a complete transformation to make it into a great little sleeper! Under the hood there has been a brand new 383 Cu In V8 crate motor installed connected to a 350 transmission. This combination makes this truck a blast to drive and is good for some great, tire smoking burn outs!The truck has been finished in a metallic gray which looks very good with no major imperfections. There has been custom pin striping painted all around the truck. There are no vinyl stickers on the truck. On the steel cowl hood, there has been a custom fire paint job applied which is a great addition and really makes the truck stand out. The body is very straight and solid, doors shut easy and with little effort. The bed does have a soft tonneau cover which looks good and has all the snaps still connected. The bed has no bed liner. There has been a new rear bumper installed and painted the same color as the rest of the truck. Inside, the truck is mostly original and in good condition. The bench seat is in great condition with no major wear. The carpet appears to be original and does show some minor wear to the driver's side, but overall it is in very good condition. The door panels do show some wear as well. There is some cracking to the dash under the dash cover. All lights, blinkers, wipers and horn work with no problems and the truck has recently passed a Missouri State Safety Inspection. There has been a Pro Matic 2 automatic shifter installed on the floor which works with no problems. Under the hood, there has been a new 383 V8 Crate motor installed. Being fed with a Holley 4 barrel carb and Edelbrock intake, the motor runs great and sounds even better coming out of its dual exhaust with headers. The motor has around 5,000 miles on it since it was put in the truck. Turn the key and the truck starts right up and goes down the road with no problems. The Chevy rally wheels look great and are wrapped with newer radial tires that have plenty of tread life left on them. This is a great driving, inexpensive little truck that makes the perfect little sleeper that you can still use to haul things around in. The current mileage is showing 174,000 but the motor and transmission are both newer in the truck. The heat works but there is no A/C.
