Motoexotica is offering another beautifully restored 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad. This fully restored mild custom Nomad is an original Bel Air with V8 engine. During restoration this car was stripped to bare metal and repainted in a beautiful shade of dark purple and gloss black. Inside you will find leather seating with suede inserts that look great. The purple and black paint is in nearly show quality condition with no major imperfections to be found. During restoration all the chrome was redone as well as the stainless steel. The trim looks perfect as do both front and rear bumpers. Only some very minor scratches are present. The car has been lowered to a perfect stance, sitting on Boyd Coddington 17" wheels all the way around. Inside the leather seats with suede inserts are in perfect condition and show no wear anywhere. The same goes for the carpet and headliner which is finished with stainless bows. All gauges are in good working order as well as the speedometer, lights and blinkers. The gauge cluster comes from Classic instruments and looks fantastic. The odometer is currently inoperable along with the horn. Power windows is a nice addition to the inside of the car as well as the under dash A/C vents which look very sleek and clean. The rear seat folds down to give you some extra space if you ever want to do any hauling with this beauty. Under the hood is a brand new 350 Cu In V8 with 4bbl carb. This is connected to a turbo 400 transmission and torque converter. All this makes the car very streetable while getting good gas mileage. The car does have power steering and power brakes as well as A/C. There are disc brakes in the front and rear, both from a Camaro with Corvette Calipers. Other options include one piece 2" lowered front spindles, Mullin 605 power steering box, Ididit tilt column, Painless wiring loom and Rain Gear intermittent wipes. On the road the car rides and drives wonderfully. It has plenty of power to pull you out of the hole and the brakes and steering work great without any pull or fading. The underside of the car is very solid with no rot that we have found. This is a sure show winner at your next cruise and will draw a crowd where ever you go! The VIN number is VC56L019536 and current mileage shows 27 which is not believed to be actual since the odometer is inoperable. The car was built in 2005 and is said to only have around 1,000 miles on it.
