2015 BMW 650i xDrive Gran Coupe

Grand tourers are popular cruisers and BMW made a great one in this 650i with xDrive. This one will become more than a cruiser if needed, thanks to its twin-turbocharged V-8, which generates 444 horsepower!

Made in BMW's Dingolfing's factory in April 2014, this car is finished in Alpine White. The paint and trim are in overall excellent order, as expected. The car's bodywork is straight and solid, its body-colored bumpers fit tightly to the body. The engine is very tidy while the cargo area is in good order.

For 2015, exterior changes include redesigned hood, front and rear bumpers, LED fog-lights, adaptive LED headlights, turn signals on the wing mirrors, revised wheel design, and new paint colors. All models were available with xDrive. Fuel economy figures were improved. Additional ride comfort settings were added to the electronically adjustable dampers.

This Bimmer rolls on Bridgestone Potenza radials, size 245/35R20 at all corners. Each tire is mounted on factory, five-spoke alloy wheels. The tires and wheels are all in very good order.

Under the hood is a 4.4L twin-turbo, DOHC, 32-valve V-8 engine (code N63) with variable valve timing (VVT) that puts down the aforementioned 444 horsepower and 479 pounds-feet of torque! Backing this motor is a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission (code 8HP70Z). This example is equipped with the company's xDrive all-wheel drive system. Driver convenience features, as expected in a BMW, are plentiful - electronic climate control, power and speed-sensitive steering, power four-wheel disc brakes, cruise control, power windows, power locks, power sideview mirrors, power front seats with memory and sunroof.

Inside, the interior is trimmed in Ivory White Nappa Leather with black trim. The Gran Coupé has a 4+1 seating arrangement, meaning there are two full-size rear seats and one smaller rear middle seat. The seats are in overall very good order, as is the matching carpet and contrasting dark grey headliner. The three-spoke steering wheel is in very good order, while the inner door panels and instrument panel echo the interior's overall condition. The center console and shift lever look great and the car has a factory infotainment center.
