The recently replaced black convertible top is a nice contrast to the white exterior but not overbearing , but Inside, the blue vinyl seats all look great with no major signs of wear visible. The door panels are finished to match the seats while the dashboard is designed to mirror the exterior of the car and look fantastic. TheChevrolet Corvairis a compactautomobile manufactured and marketed by Chevroletfor model years19601969 over two generations. As the only American-designed, mass-producedpassenger car to feature a rear-mountedair-cooled engine, the Corvair range included a two-door coupe, convertible, four-door sedan, and four-door station wagon body styles, as well as passenger van, commercial van, and pickup truck variants. The Corvair competed with imported cars such as the original Volkswagon Beetle, as well as theFalcon, Plymouth, Studebaker Larkand the Rambler American. This model year was the first with a collapsible steering column. A dual circuit master cylinder with warning light, nylon reinforced brake hoses, stronger steel (instead of aluminum) door hinges, "mushroomed" instrument panel knobs and a vinyl-edged day/night mirror were all made standard equipment. Chevrolet introduced a 50,000mi (80,000km) engine warranty on all Chevrolet models including the Corvair. This stunning 67 Chevrolet Corvair is upgraded with a 64 YR code factory 64cid turbocharged 6 cylinder engine (The turbo came off the assembly line with chrome plated induction tube, fuel and oil lines and air cleaner. Internals included super-alloy exhaust valves, with exhaust valve guides designed for exceptional heat dissipation, and high-alloy, aluminized-face intake valves for improved durability) Coupled to a 4-speed manual transmission, 140mph speedometer and small diameter aftermarket sport steering wheel. Cylinder head and manifold temp gauges are inoperable. Period correct 14 inch American Racing 5 spoke wheels shod with 215/60-14 B.F. Goodrich tires. These Series II Corvairs are becoming increasingly hard to find in such solid well kept condition. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
