This is the true classic British enthusiast's car, The subject of two previously well done restorations. Finished in a dramatic, deep rich Signal red paint job. The paint was applied with the pinnacle of care - with 2 coats of original red paint applied covered with 5 coats of clear - each coat wet sanded and polished to perfection shows extremely well even upon close inspection. Both the front and rear bumpers fit nicely and compliment the body. Paint and body (#4R4187) are exceptional with no visible evidence of repair or damage that we could find. Inside, the rich tan Connolly leather bucket seats look great with no major signs of wear visible. The door panels are impeccably finish, carpet displaying extremely well, with the dashboard condition and period correct gauges completes the excellence of the interior while mirroring the excellence of the exterior.Included with this handsome cat are two Jaguar Clubs of North America, Inc. (JCNA), Concours D' Elegance Best Jaguar in class pewter plates Recently acquired for the car, was a new front bumper, new badging, new windshield, The engine was removed for the addition of a new clutch kit, While out of the bay, the removed engine was a painted and detailed. At the same time, the engine compartment was also detailed, polished and where needed painted. The suspension was removed and repainted, and all of the suspension parts replaced with new. The underside is equally well restored and sorted with all new parts. The car enjoys new turn signals front and rear. new door chrome, new windshield surround chrome and virtually new tires. Also, new side marker lights were installed and a period correct wooden "Nardi" steering wheel, New brakes were applied to the front, and rear brakes are in excellent condition. There are new headlights ,chrome eyebrows , fender joiners , rear view mirror is NOS as are the two door mirrors. There is new rubber weather-stripping around the entire car. Before you start thinking this cat is a just a garage queen, it is meant to be driven! This number matching car is equipped with a strong 265HP 4.2L inline 6 cylinder engine (# 7R6190-9) matted with a all-synchromesh four-speed gearbox and independent coil spring rear suspension is ready for weekend drives in the country or the track! Everything is in excellent working order mechanically as well as electrically. No overheating issues, either. These XKEs are becoming increasingly hard to find, especially one like this in excellent condition! GET OUT AND DRIVE!!! Current mileage on the odometer shows 96,120, it is sold as is and is mileage exempt. The car is being sold on a clean & clear title.
