Thisis a 1940'sicon classic, with modern day upgrades, hence the name "Restomod". What is the difference between Restomod and restoration? Traditionally, automotive restoration essentially refers to taking a collector car and bringing it back to life utilizing as many of the OEM parts as possible. A "Restomod goes on step further, by including modern drivetrain components. The process involves repair of the visible parts (e.g., body trim, interior, etc.), as well as the parts not easily seen (e.g., electrical, suspension, brakes, etc.). The anticipated resultsof a Restomod, is a beautifully preserved automobile in factory-new condition with authentic parts just like it came off the showroom floor decades ago, utilizing modern drivetrains, increasing reliability, comfortand performance. This Lincoln is now powered by a Cadillac 429-cid V-8 with a 400 Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission and has a limited slip rear end. Less than 2,500 miles have been clocked since this car was completed and is now ready for many more. Finished in a period correct Mint Green, the paint job shows extremely well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. Both the front and rear bumpers fit nicely and compliment the body. Paint and body shows extremely well with no visible evidence of repair or damage that we could find. The interior continues the theme of the exterior with the dark green leather front split bench seats and rear bench seat and all look great with no major signs of wear visible wear.
