The 1963 was thethird generation of the Ford Thunderbirdis a large personal luxury carthat was produced by Ford for the 1961 to 1963 model years. It featured new and much sleeker styling than the second generation models leading to the nick name "bullet Bird".The T-bird was also one of the few American produced automobiles to offer a sliding steering column for ease of entering and exiting the futuristic cabin. Refinished in a elegant and timeless (code correct "V")ChestnutBurgundy metallic, the car overall shows extremely well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. Front and rear bumpers fit properly and chrome shows extremely well including the override bumper guards. All trim is present and finish is bright with only very minor marring. Weather stripping is newer for both doors, front and rear glass weather stripping is in good condition with very little shrinkage in the front. Inside, the two-tone combination burgundy and rose interior presents wellwith no major issues. Seats are nice with older upholstery showing only minorsigns of wear and age. The door panels compliment the seats and dashboard (although showing a little wear) is designed to mirror the cabin and compliment the exterior of the car. Included are power windows, beautiful power white hide-away convertible top and power seat (currently inoperable). All gauges display properly and function as designed. Carpet is complete, in good presentable condition and a compliment to the rest of the "Jetson's" cabin.
