Hummers H3 was the last of General Motors effort to make a mid-size SUV for the general public after their successful full-size SUV H2. Built on General Motors compact pickup chassis the H3T Alpha received serval distinctive upgrades from the standard H3. Replacing the dismal five cylinder engine was a 5.3L small block V8, which provided a much needed power increase. Unique to the Alpha was the premium option of leather seats, which this H3T has in excellent condition. The interior was also given a high-end Monsoon sound system, power sunroof, Weather Tech floor mats, and many other conveniences as well. This H3T was modified to be extremely capable off-road on rugged trails. With both front and rear differentials electronically locking, the big 35 Toyo M/Ts have ample traction to conquer just about any obstacle in its path. Alloy Granite faux bead lock 17 wheels are paired with the capable mud terrain tires, all of which are in very good condition. The tires have minor wear showing but still have the majority of tread still left and the wheels are in great shape with minor wear showing. Unique to the H3T Alpha are the dealer installed Bilstein shocks that were specially tuned with Hummer, to get the most off-road performance. Another unique feature to the Alpha is air intake system; the intake was revised to draw from the snorkel mounted above the hood, which helps increase the water depth this Hummer is able to operate in. Steel front and rear off-road bumpers provide an improved approach and departure angle, while increasing protection too. Multiple sets of Rigid LED light bars are mounted on the front bumper, alongside an 8500lb Rugged Ridge winch with synthetic rope. Mounted on a swing mount the spare tire is locked into place via a lock-pin and handle. Also dealer installed rock slider side-step help protect the running boards from harsh impacts and scraps when ground clearance becomes an issue. The lined cargo bed is ideal for light-duty payloads, bring your dirt bike with you... there are several built-in storage cases in the bed, along with aluminum tracks for a full or partial bed cover.
