Originally purchased new in 2003, this Ford Excursion XLT was delivered then sent to be converted into a limousine. It will comfortably seat 14 to 18 people still having "barn"typedoors at the rearand with plenty of extra storage if need! Finished in elegantSilver Birch Metallic, the exterior body panels are in very good condition with only minorsigns of use. Since the conversion, the silver paint showsno visiblesignsof body work where the extra length wasmatedwith the original body. Limousine tintwasapplied to the passengers windows and shows no signs of damage or peeling. Silver padded vinyl upholstery covers the exterior top half of the passengers quarters and is in very good condition. All four chrome wheels are in good condition with only minor imperfections, and the tires appear to be in excellent condition with plenty of tread. The original carpet is like new as it was always covered by a second matching carpet mat. When passengers enter the limousine they are treated to very extravagant interior. A full wet-bar with two separate ice holders which have exterior drain holes; included with the wet-bar are crystal like containers and several different glass cups, each item has its own padded storage place. Piano black trim pieces surround the wet bar and other aspects of the passengers quarters. Grey vinyl seats, which are in very good condition, seat over 10 passengers in comfort. Full control of the air conditioning, stereo, iPod, and DVD/TVs are given to the passengers. Looking up on the ceiling passengers will find color changing mood light and most importantly, a fully functional fiber optic lighting arrangement that replicates a starry night. The vehicle drivers area has been left mostly stock and shows only very minor wear. One major modification is the addition of rear privacy glass with both glass and vinyl separators. Where the passengers seat would normal be there is a color matching compartment holder, which is in great condition and houses the auxiliary rear air conditioning unit. A battery and switch power box was added to give the driver ultimate control of the cars electronic systems, which uses two batteries and two alternators. Mechanically this limousine drives wonderfully and was just driven from Kansas City to St. Louis where it was then used for prom night! The 6.8L V10 has more than enough torque when fully loaded with passengers. Mated to the strong V-10 is a 3-speed automatic transmission built to handle heavy power and load. Oversized standard brakes will stop the limousine efficiently when under full load. Overall this Excursion LXT limousine is in great condition, with only minor wear from passenger use.
