Description

Ported 12a Mazda rotary powered VW Trans axle Kennedy Phase 2 clutch Updated brake system and hydraulic clutch Custom aluminum radiator with 2 electric fans Racing Beat intake manifold Dellorto Carb with individual throttle bodies Custom roll cage Same Arizona Owner since 2008 Motoexotica is please to present this very nice Resto Moded 1959 Fiat 600 dubbed the "Maziat". It's been outfitted with an early Mazda RX7 12a Rotary engine that has been tastefully modded and makes for an outstanding power to weight ratio. Originally a 1,300 lbs car with now an estimated power of 220 hp makes this quite the rocket ship going well over its original top speed of just over 60 mph. Obviously with all that new found power you have to be able to stop, the brakes have also been updated along with a hydraulic clutch. The stock 4 speed trans axle has also been upgraded to handle the load the rotary puts on it and now has a VW trans axle to take any abuse you could throw at it. A giant custom radiator now fills the space under the rear hood and the gas tank and clutch/brake master cylinder can be found in the frunk. Custom roll cage adds to the rigidity of the chassis while still allowing for ease of entry into the car. Besides the obvious power upgrades the restoration of the vehicle done by Mr. Bills is top notch. Paint, seats, carpet, head liner, and door panels have all been beautifully redone making this a great restoration even without the new power plant. The FIAT 600 (Italian: Seicento, pronounced say-chento) is a city car produced by the Italian manufacturer FIAT from 1955 to 1969. Measuring only 3.22m (10ft 7in) long, it was the first rear-engined Fiat. The total number produced from 1955 to 1969 at the Mirafiori plant in Turin was 2,695,197. During the 1960s, '70s and '80s, the car became very popular in countries such as Spain (as SEAT 600), where it became the icon, par excellence, of the Spanish miracle, Argentina, where it was nicknamed Fitito (a diminutive of FIAT) and former Yugoslavia where it was nicknamed Fico (pronounced [fee-cho]). The current milage shows 0029 which is the understood miles placed on car since being fully restored. The VIN is 100644652 and is being sold on a clear and clean title.Be sure to watch our video at MotoeXotica's YouTube channel.
