We have in our showroom a gorgeous Plum Crazy Purple 1971 Dodge Challenger RT Tribute. This particular Challenger is a great example of the pony platform Dodge introduced to directly compete with the other manufacturers. This Challenger is a special one with its correct paint, interior and vinyl top as well as an upgraded powerful 440 6-Pack V8 pumping out 513HP, 727 Torqueflight automatic transmission and new Rally wheels. The under body of this body off Challenger is as clean as the top and is very impressive! The Challenger you see here is one of the High Impact colors, which were an extra $15.05 in 1971: Plum Crazy Purple (FC7 code) with a Black Full Vinyl Roof (V1X) and Black/White vinyl interior (XX code). The new and correct Plum Crazy Purple paint is in wonderful condition, only showing very minor imperfections, but it still shows very well. The body is sound, as it should be. The hardtop is finished in full black vinyl and looks great, as it is new and shows no notable staining, imperfections or wear. The whole look to this Challenger is completed with a tough looking R/T hood, complete with the matte black R/T stripe down the center of the hood and the R/T stripes on either side of the body. The new trim pieces look excellent with a beautiful luster. This is truly a beautiful Plum Crazy Mopar. Inside, you will find that the interior is new with the exception of the seat covers, which are original. The seats are wrapped in Black/White interior (XX Code) and show no notable signs of major wear or imperfections in both the front and back. This car is equipped with vinyl bucket seats and a console shifter. The door panels match
