This is an attractive example of the Eight, a four door Touring sedan finished in a beautiful maroon with a nicely restored gray interior. Packard's beauty and engineering expertise is nicely showcased in this wonderful sedan that's big enough for the whole family or any formal occasion. This example is nicely restored and presents well both inside and out. Finished in a deep, rich maroon, the paint appears to be from an older repaint and the car is in wonderful condition throughout. The paint is in beautiful condition throughout, showing only minor imperfections such as very small rock chips. The body has been accented by a small red pinstripe around the exterior of the car. The body is stunning and also has factory side skirts and a sunvisor. There are also curb feelers on the passenger side of the car. Both front and rear bumpers are in very good condition and do appear to be original for the car. The rest of the stainless trim looks very good and shows no damage. Inside, the interior has been reupholstered in the correct color and material and looks very good. Both the front and rear bench seats are beautifully upholstered with gray striped cloth and show no major signs of wear or tear. The carpet, door panels and kick panels are all in great condition with only very minimal wear, if any, showing. The interior features Packard's wonderfully simplistic dashboard with a matching speedometer and clock flanking the engine monitoring gauges that are both elegant and functional. The factory stock radio is also nicely mounted in a vertical theme and completes the driving experience of this fine sedan. Power for the Packard Eight comes from a 288 cubic inch straight eight, capable of making up to 135 horsepower that easily allows it to cruise at highways speeds. Connected to the engine is an automatic transmission, making the car is a joy to drive. The engine compartment is clean and nicely detailed. The Packard sits upon a set of paint matched steel wheels with Packard hubcaps and beauty rings. The wheels are wrapped in wide white walls that look absolutely stunning! The Packard Eight rides like a cloud thanks to its 3,830 pound weight and 120" wheelbase that allows it to glide over any road.
