Economy minded motorists now had a new choice in the six cylinder market and the 115-C proudly carried the Packard name! Selling for just $895 in 1937, this five-passenger sedan was an absolutely bargain that proudly announced to the motoring public that the quality of the Packard name could be owned by anyone. This 115-C is a car that stands ready for any occasion while also representing an important part of the Packard heritage. It has benefitted from an older restoration that has held up nicely over the years! The car is arguably in show quality condition and drives like a dream! Packards excellence is featured throughout in this wonderful touring car. This is truly a wonderful, classic Packard! Finished in a lovely shade of blue, the car is in wonderful condition throughout. The paint is in beautiful condition overall, showing only minor imperfections such as very small rock chips. The body has been accented by a small white pinstripe around the exterior of the car and the fenders have been outlined as well, giving just a tiny touch of contrast to the paint. The body is stunning and has running boards along the side of the car. Both front and rear bumpers are in very good condition and do appear to be original for the car. The rest of the stainless trim looks very good and shows no damage Inside, the interior has been correctly restored to authentic Packard standards and features all the fine attributes for which Packard is known. The seats are finished in the correct color, material and looks very good. Both the front and rear bench seats are beautifully upholstered and show no major signs of wear or tear. The carpet, door panels and kick panels are all in great condition with only very minimal wear, if any, showing. The dashboard is finished in a faux wood panel and houses a set of original, period correct gauges that look absolutely smashing. This is truly an incredible pre-WWII time piece! Under the hood, the new-for-1937 237 cubic inch, L-head inline 6 cylinder runs extremely smooth, as theyre all known for. Connected to the three speed manual transmission, the car is a joy to drive. The transmission is shifted smoothly through the floor. The engine compartment is clean and nicely detailed. The Packard sits upon a set of 16 color match, painted wheels wrapped in 6.50x16 wide white walls that look absolutely stunning! This stunning classic would make itself at home with just about any car collector or as a wonderful Sunday driver. The current mileage shows 4,005 and the VIN number is T64725.
