This car started as father son project back in the 1970s where the two would work on the car together as time permitted. They worked for a long time together on this car and I'm sure the build is full of blood, sweat and tears, as is any classic car build! The outcome is absolutely stunning, as you can see. This car was sold to us by the son through his father's estate. This gorgeous, three tone 1931 Ford Super Deluxe 5-Window Coupe is truly spectacular. The steel body is in excellent condition and very solid. The three tone paint is in beautiful condition as well. The body is finished in a deep forest green and a shade of light green with black rockers and fenders with a lime green pinstripe hugging the body. The paint shows minimal imperfections and shows beautifully. This special Super Deluxe has the correct dual taillights, cowl lights and even a functional rumble seat! Inside the coupe, the Mohair interior is in wonderful shape. The seats show no signs of major imperfection or wear anywhere to be seen. The door panels are comparable to the seats and look great as well. The brown carpet is also in great shape. The dashboard has been painted to color match the deep forest green paint on the exterior and houses an original set of gauges that look time correct and beautiful. This is truly a wonderful coupe! Under the hood, you'll find the original 4 cylinder engine powering the Super Deluxe. The VIN is stamped on the driver's side of the block on a stamp pad. Mated to the engine is a manual transmission that is shifted through the floor. The car sits upon a set of 19" lime green painted spoke wheels with chrome Ford center caps. These wheels are SERIOUSLY cool and contrast the dark green paint PERFECTLY! The wheels are wrapped in 4.75/5.00-19 old school, gum dipped Firestone white wall tires that look fantastic.
