2017 Chevrolet Camaro
Since you cannot buy a new Camaro, a sixth-generation model might be the next best thing. Here at MotoeXotica Classic Cars, we have a Camaro 2LT from 2017.
Using the GM Alpha platform shared with the Cadillac ATS, the sixth-generation Camaro was manufactured in April 2017 at Lansing Grand River Assembly in Michigan. This couple left the assembly line with the following options – engine block heater, illuminated door sill plates, interior spectrum lighting, heated sideview mirrors with driver's side autodim, side blind zone alert, rear cross-traffic alert, rear park assist, multi-color driver information center, heated steering wheel, wireless charging, heads-up display, suede shift knob and suede flat-bottom steering wheel, high-intensity discharge headlamps, performance suspension, heavy-duty cooling and brake package and external engine oil cooler. This example was delivered to Westgate Chevrolet Ltd. in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
The engine bay is very tidy, the cargo area is clean and the body-colored bumpers fit tightly.
This ponycar rolls on Pirelli Cinturato radial tires, size 245/40ZR20 in front and 275/35ZR20 in rear. Each one is mounted on black, dual-spoke alloy wheels. The tires and wheels are in all in good condition.
GM High-feature V-6, which is a 3.6L unit with DOHC, 24 valves (code LGX), variable valve timing and dual-mode performance exhaust. Backing this engine is a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a 3.27:1 differential. Driver convenience features include electronic and dual-zone climate control, power- and speed-assisted electric steering, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, cruise control, power sideview mirrors, power locks, power windows, tilt-telescoping steering column, heated and power front bucket seats (driver 8-way/passenger 6-way), power trunk release, compass and front reading lamps, satellite radio and Apple CarPlay.
Safety equipment includes dual front air bags, anti-lock brakes, StabiliTrak stability control system, parking assist, finger-operated electric parking brake, dual side airbags and front head curtain airbags, rear window defroster, rearview camera and intermittent windshield wipers and daytime running lights (DRLs).
Inside, the car's leather front bucket and rear bench seats are in great shape. The car's black carpet and matching floor mats mirror the seats' condition. The center console features dual cup holders, an electric parking brake and the shifter plus two large air vents. This example also has factory spectrum for the footwells.
The three-spoke steering wheel has a flat “bottom” rim along with a suede rim and the shift knob has a matching texture.
