Description

If you're looking for Harley-Davidson qualities and abilities without buying a Harley, consider this Victory Vision. Same owner since 2015 - miles at purchase was 12,752. Always garage kept.

Its Freedom 106 CID V-twin engine makes 92 horsepower at 4,750 rpm with 109 lbs-ft of torque at 2,600 rpm. It will cruise at 70 or 80 mph without sounding stressed. Don't be confused, however, the Victory still has plenty of scoot from a stop to beat most cars or pass them on a two-lane road.

The six-speed transmission shifts well, with few false shifts. Upshifts without the clutch are possible but are unnecessary. The clutch's firmness can be a drag in heavy traffic. Driver convenience features include heated handgrips and main saddle.

The Blue Ice and silver trim go well together and look good in this application. The paint and trim are in overall very good order.

Light steering is a hallmark of this bike and its theme quickly becomes “better than what you expect.” The brakes are enough to slow the bike from speed but note that the stronger of the pair is in back; if you slam on it hard enough, you'll engage the linked anti-lock brake system.

Besides its motor, comfort is another strong selling point on the Victory. The rider's seat is ginormous and provides just the appropriate amount of support and wiggle room for long stretches of pavement. There's a full array of gauges, familiar idiot lights and ergonomically, riding is like sitting in chair that has plenty of room for your feet, provided you're 72 to 74 inches in height. The gigantic floorboards double as extreme weather blockers. Handlebars that are pulled back translates to little to no shoulder strain. Those who stand under 70 inches tall may find the bike too much to manage. Passenger space is equally plentiful.

When Polaris Industries decided to get into the motorcycle business 10 years ago, there were plenty of skeptics. The odds of success were decidedly against the new Victory brand given the huge investment required and the incredibly high level of well-established competition. Success required one thing more than any other . . . quality products.

Victory has not only survived for 10 years, it has steadily built a loyal following with motorcycles that now have a well-deserved reputation for reliability, performance and styling.

If you're looking for an older cycle one that rides well and is comfortable, test out this Victory Vision at MotoeXotica Classic Cars today!
