SOLD

Description

If you ever thought GMC missed a golden opportunity to build an extended cab one-ton pickup truck in 1963, this is your chance with this K2500 Super Extended Cab 4x4 Custom.

While not a factory build, the professional team who built this custom version did a great job, especially with the welding work. Using a one-ton frame as a foundation, this one of one model has many new or rebuilt parts.  This lifted truck sports a white gloss roof over a matte mustard yellow body with white trim. The model has a long bed with a custom, raised wooden bed and a LED rear brake light kit. The engine bay is tidy. The paint and trim in overall excellent order, the bodywork is straight and solid, the chocolate-colored metal bumpers and Bully step rungs fit tightly to the body. The frame and entire undercarriage have been POR15 coated.

This truck measures 244 inches (20.3 feet or 6.19 meters) long, 86 inches tall (7.16 feet or 2.18 meters) and 88 inches (7.3 feet or 2.23 meters) wide.

This truck rolls on Patriot light truck tires, size 35x13.50R22 at all four corners. Each one is mounted on Ballistic custom black and eight-spoke white spoke wheels with yellow hubs. The wheels are in excellent order while the tires are in very good order.

This truck has the following new parts – fuel lines and brake hoses. The engine oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid and differential fluid are all fresh.

Under the hood is a 350 CID V-8 engine that has been mildly restomodded. It has an oversized aluminum radiator with dual electric cooling fans, a professionally rebuilt steering box, a new slave cylinder and power steering pump. Backing the motor is a heavy-duty, four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed four-wheel-drive system. Driver convenience features include power steering and power brakes with discs in front.

Inside, there is a new custom tan interior with new, modern Saddle front bucket seats and a rear bench seat, with yellow stitching and complete with front and rear seat belts. There is a dark brown carpet on the floor and a brown headliner. The original two-spoke steering wheel is in satisfactory shape. There is play in the steering due to the custom lift. As a bonus, the truck is equipped with a Horn Blasters air horn which is inop. The wheel, metal instrument panel and inner door liners are all in good, original condition. There are oil pressure, coolant temperature and battery gauges mounted beneath the dashboard. A floor shifter and aftermarket AM/FM stereo with a cassette deck complete the interior.

A showstopper at any local cruise night or car show, this truck will draw attention anywhere it goes.
