As mentioned, this is an extremely optioned Formula. There are black stripes on the side of the car on each side and Ram Air decals on the nostrils of the Ram Air inlets on the hood. The chrome is in wonderful condition and shines bright with a luminescent luster. This Firebird sits on four correct 15-inch Honeycomb wheels wrapped in P245/60R15 white letter BF Goodrich tires that really set off the entire look of this muscle car. It should be mentioned that there is a spare and jack in the trunk of the car. Overall, the car shows extremely well and will impress both young & old! The black vinyl interior is in excellent shape and shows no major signs of wear or tear. The headliner, carpet and door panels are clean and fresh. The Firebird floor mats are in great condition and intact to protect the black carpet. An aftermarket AM/FM/CD stereo is installed to make summer drives more enjoyable! The gauges are 1971 correct and look great. As mentioned, there is a Formula steering wheel and Firebird Formula emblems on either door. The interior looks just as great as the exterior! Under the hood, the correct "YE" code 455 cubic inch HO V8 engine with a 4 barrel carburetor powers the car. This particular engine is mated with a Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission. As mentioned, there is also power steering, power brakes and manual air conditioning. This is a great example of a rarely seen highly optioned, 455 HO Ram Air Firebird Formula and will fit well into any collection looking for a sexy and fast Pontiac muscle car.
