This car appears to have benefitted from an older restoration as paint looks great and the interior has been upgraded with leather interior from a late model car. This is a beautiful example of Plymouths craftsmanship in the early years! The exterior is in great overall shape and the tan paint shows very nicely but there are some imperfections. There are very minor imperfections, such as rock chips, on the trunk lid and the front of the car. The paint hugs a solid body and it looks great. This car is equipped with running boards and they look great. The chrome bumpers are in excellent condition and appear to be new with a brilliant luster. The stainless trim does show some minor pitting from age but still shows well, overall. The hood latches open and close easily on each side. Inside, the interior looks awesome. It appears that the interior has been updated with two tone tan vinyl & leather out of a late model car, complete with seat belts. The interior is very clean and tidy, showing very little sign of wear. The door panels, carpet and headliner all look in comparable condition. The dashboard is color matched to the exterior and houses a set of original gauges. It should be noted that the speedometer and odometer are currently inoperable. The trunk is very nicely detailed with the same carpet that goes throughout the interior of the car. Under the hood, youll find the 201 cubic inch flathead straight 6 cylinder engine with casting code P8. Attached to the engine is a manual transmission. There is the typical whine that comes with non-synchronous transmissions, but it still drives great! The car sits upon a set of 14 red steel wheels, complete with chrome beauty rings and baby moon center caps. The wheels are wrapped in P205/75R14 white stripe tires that look great. This is a great looking, classic Plymouth from the World War II era and would be a great addition to any car collection.
