This phenomenal sports car was found covered in a climate controlled garage with the original windows stickers still installed on the passenger window, where it has sat for the past 8 years!!!! What's even more insane is that it has only 32 ORIGINAL MILES! WOW! This Corvette is a literally a time capsule from 36 years ago! Originally purchased in Hartington, Nebraska, the car came loaded with options which included, most importantly, the L48 350 cubic inch V8 engine mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Other options included power windows, rear defogger, air conditioning, tilt-telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, AM/FM stereo (with a CB radio!), two tone paint and silver leather interior. Included with the car are the original Pace Car decals (still in the box, NEVER installed!), original steering wheel cover, original t-top cover, original dealer inspection sheet, original instructions to re-install the t-tops after removal and mirror/signal instructions. Upon bringing this gorgeous Vette into our shop, we found the original Bill of Laden/Broadcast Sheet rolled up beneath the suspension! WOW! It's extremely hard to find this sheet as it was never meant to stay with the vehicle and we have it with the car! Check out the pristine underbody of this coveted Corvette. Everything is clean and tidy as it did when it left the plant here in St. Louis. With only 32 ORIGINAL miles, the car is a true timepiece and is going to make a Corvette collector VERY happy somewhere! The body of this Corvette is laser straight and sound, with good gaps for the doors. The two tone black and silver paint is in excellent condition, showing very, very subtle imperfections due to age. The red pinstriping that separates the two tone paint accentuates the lines of the car and looks great. The t-tops are in wonderful condition, showing no signs of cracking or leaking. Inside, the interior appears to be all original. The silver leather seats look great, as do the matching door panels. The gray carpet is still covered with the original Corvette floor mats and looks great. The dashboard is in great condition, showing no signs of cracking or fade. It houses all of the original gauges, as well as a clock and AM/FM/CB radio. This Corvette is about as original as it gets. Under the hood boasts the desired (and original) L48 engine mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. The engine bay is clean and tidy, just as it was back in 1978. This is also an original A/C car, as shown on the broadcast sheet, which works with no problems and blows ice cold! Other options under the hood include power steering and power brakes.
