If you are looking for a great looking ORIGINAL convertible then you have found it. This 1976 Cadillac El Dorado has only 52,000 miles on a clean Missouri title. Anyone can restore a car, but they are only original once. 1976 was the last year of production for this highly collectable. This Caddy has a lot of power options as well! This car has great paint that shows no major scratches or dings to the body or previous paint work. There are a couple of very minor chips in the paint barely noticeable. The paint is original and you can tell just by looking at the minor imperfections! This Cadillac is a time capsule! The chrome bumpers have a beautiful shine with no dents or pitting but some very minor imperfections. The newer tan canvas power top and goes up and down with a flick of a switch. The 235/75 R15 tires are in great condition and hug a set of 15 steel wheels with Cadillac hubcaps that all look great! Inside, the tan leather interior appears to be all original and in superb condition. The drivers seat does have very minimal wear but appears to have been from regular driving. The tan carpet and two tone door panels are also in good condition. The door panels have very detailed wood trim as well and the leather does show some minor cracking to the original material. The brown dash with wood veneer is solid with no cracking to be found as well as the steering wheel, which is solid. Everything is power on this car including brakes, steering, top, antenna, cruise control, windows and window locks. It should be noted the AC is inoperable due to the compressor not engaging. There is also a clock and AM/FM/8-Track player. Bonus we found the Coal Miners Daughter 8-Track in the glovebox! The engine is a monstrous 500 cubic inch V8 that has tons of get up and go for this huge Cadillac! With a turn of the key the car starts right up with no hesitation and runs out great with smooth shifting. Attached to the engine is a 3-speed automatic transmission. There is also power steering and power brakes. The body and frame are straight and this car runs and drives very well. The VIN is 6L6756Q188271 and the mileage currently shows 52,769.
