This Olds convertible is a rarely seen classic that is sure to bring back memories from when you were a kid riding around with the top down! The Jetstar was produced for only two years, 1964 and 1965. The body data plate shows that it is a "64-3367" which translates to 1964 2 door convertible and there were only 3,903 built that year with only 2,879 built the following year! As mentioned before, this is a RARE convertible!Finished in the original shade of Holiday Red, the paint has been recently re-sprayed. The original paint was starting to fade so the entire body was then thoroughly stripped to bare metal, prepped, primed, blocked and sealed. It was then painted in the factory original Holiday Red and then received four coats of clear coat. The paint shows very well today and shows minimal imperfections such as very small rock chips to the front end. The front and rear chrome bumpers are brand new replacement bumpers that are in great shape and shine bright. The front and rear trim pieces, as well as the mirror trim, do show some minor pitting. The white canvas convertible top looks great and was replaced when the interior was reupholstered. It does have a very, very small stain on the driver's side. The power top goes up and down properly and has the optional rear glass window instead of a plastic window.Inside, the interior is finished in white vinyl. The interior was recently reupholstered and everything from the seats to the door panels to the carpeting was reupholstered. The seats are in great condition and show no major signs of wear. Both the front and rear seats show no tears or rips. The door panels are a two tone white and gray vinyl and look great as well. The black carpet is equally as nice with no tears or rips to be found. The black dashboard is in very good condition with no cracking to be seen and the original AM radio is still intact. Beneath the dash, there is a set of aftermarket gauges that monitor the voltage, oil pressure and engine temperature.Under the hood, you'll see the Jetfire Rocket 330 cubic inch V8 engine with a Jetaway automatic transmission mated to it. The engine still has the original 2 barrel Rochester carburetor as well. This car is equipped with power brakes and power steering. The car sits upon a set of 14" chrome Oldsmobile wheels with Holiday Red inserts that are wrapped in P225/70R14 Firestone Firehawk tires that look great.This is a very rare convertible that is hard to find in good, solid, near original condition. The car is sure to please the next owner and put smiles on everyone's faces. The current mileage shows 62,744 and VIN is 834K033009. The previous owner has owned this vehicle since June of 1987.
