The Ford Crestline Skyliner was an automobile featuring a 2 door hardtop body style with an integrated acrylic glass panel over the front seating area. As this Ford is of the Skyliner variety, it does have the famous green tinted plexi-glass panel above the front seats, inviting light in. The plexi-glass is in very good condition with no cracking or major discoloration. This really is a car you must see to believe because the pictures do it absolutely no justice. Inside, the white and coral vinyl seats are bright and clean with no notable wear marks. The headliner is in great condition with no sagging. The dashboard is original and finished in white, just like the rest of the interior. The door panels, kick panels and carpet are all equally as nice with no signs or wear. The car does come with the vinyl sun block that snaps into place under the plexi-glass top. Under the hood, you'll see the 239 cubic inch, overhead valve V8 with a two barrel carburetor, capable of producing upwards of 130 horsepower. The engine has been nicely detailed and looks great. Transferring the power thru the remainder of the drivetrain is three speed manual transmission. The wheels appear to be original to the car and are wrapped in newer white wall tires that look great. In the trunk you will find a full size spare and jack. The trunk is very solid with no rot that we have seen. The same goes for the underside of the car.
