Description

Located just north of Madison Nebraska, Suburban Motors came to life in the late 1960's from a metal fabricating company called Uneco. In 1968 the Suburban Safari was born. While the exact number made is up for debate, sources say between 58 and 64 were officially produced before a fire destroyed the plant and ended any future plans. This is a very nicely done Suburban Safari that has only 6 miles on the odometer! The paint on the car is in very good condition with only a few minor imperfections. The front bumper is nicely painted and appears to be original with on imperfections. This is a fiberglass car that shows no damage. The interior is in good, original condition with no wear to the vinyl seat. The dash does show some wear as you can see in the photos but can be easily recovered. Gauges are in good condition and includes a speedometer and amp gauge.Turn the key and the 14 horsepower Briggs and Straton fires right up. The car is a blast to drive around and would be a great parade car. Use it for your Shriner events, around your community or simply to go pick up the mail in! Sure to put a smile on everyone's face! We currently can't find a serial number on the car. If you tell us where to look, we'll try to hunt it down and post it to the bottom of the auction. Otherwise, the car is sold without a serial number. Sold on Bill of Sale only.
