Numbers Matching! Incredible Nut & Bolt Restoration! Many Power Options! Rarely Seen Optional Bucket Seats! 390ci V8 & Automatic Transmission! Desert Car from Nevada! Cadillac is known for currently being the 2nd oldest American automobile brand and is among the oldest automobile brands in the entire world. Cadillac's well known slogan, "Standard of the World," comes with its great history that includes being the first production automobile to incorporate electric start and lighting! MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this very handsome and stately 1961 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible. This particular big finned Cadillac is numbers matching and has been very tastefully and properly restored. It comes to us from the ultra dry state of Nevada! Finished in correct Pompeian Red (Code 50) paint with a White (Code 1) canvas convertible top, the body is in excellent condition and is very straight. The paint is in beautiful condition and was professionally done, showing no major signs of imperfection. The white canvas convertible top is in beautiful shape, showing no wear, tear or staining. There is an included white canvas boot as well. It is also in great shape. The chrome shines brilliantly and is all correct. The rear chrome tail light dishes show very faint scratching but still shows very well. Inside, the interior is finished in the correct Maroon/White leather (Code 28B) and is completely stunning! The front seats are rarely seen bucket seats, which was a seldom selected option in 1961. The seats are wrapped in white leather and the back of the seat is finished in matching Pompeian Red and chrome trim, which look excellent. The leather shows no signs of wear or tear on both front seats and the rear bench seat. The red carpet looks beautiful and contrasts the White leather intensely. The doors are 2-tone white & red leather which look awesome with no signs of wear or tear. The dashboard is also 2-tone and houses a set of original gauges, an AM radio and a clock! The driver's seat, windows and antenna are all power and function properly. Under the hood, you will find a 390 cubic inch V8 engine with a 4 barrel carburetor, which is capable of up to 325 horsepower. Attached to the engine is an automatic transmission. This beauty is equipped with power brakes and power steering. It sits elegantly upon a set of 15" color matched Cadillac wheels wrapped in L78-15 Coker Classic white wall tires, which really set off the nostalgic look of the convertible. The underside of this fine Cadillac is equally impressive as the top and is finished to a true show standard. Please review the photos to see the attention to detail.Included with the purchase of this car is the 1961 Cadillac Owner's Manual that can be found in the glove box. This is a truly stunning example of Cadillac's fine craftsmanship in the 1960s and would make an awesome Sunday driver or addition to any collection. The VIN is 61F026646 and the mileage currently shows 14,457. It is being sold on a clean and clear Nevada title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
