A new fad in the classic car world is old school looks with a modern drivetrain. This gives you all the looks and classic styling of these wonderful classics but will also give you the power and reliability of a modern day car. This is exactly what they did here with this awesome '36 Chevrolet Pick Up. From the outside, the truck has all of the looks of the classic work truck but under the hood, you will find a fresh 350 Crate motor and automatic transmission. The paint on the truck is in very good overall condition with only a few scratches and dings. The hood shows the majority of these scratches. The rest of the body, fenders and running boards are all in very good condition and are steel with the exception of the rear fenders which are fiberglass. Both front and rear bumpers are in very good condition and appear to have been rechromed. The stainless trim has been polished to a high quality as well as the hood ornament. The wood bed looks good with no cracking to the wood. There are some scratches and dings to the bed, but this just shows that this truck was used and not just a trailer queen. Inside, the seats, headliner and door panels have all been profesionally refinished in leather that looks great. The leather bench seat shows no wear and looks to be new, as does the rest of the interior. The carpet is new and is continues up behind the bench seat. The dash has been painted black and looks great with its vintage set of gauges that all appear to work with no problems. Shifting the automatic transmission is done with the Corvair styled gear selector to the left of the gauges. Simply click into gear and off you go!Under the hood, the original inline 6 cylinder has been replaced with a fresh 350 Cu In crate motor. Connected to the 350 automatic transmission, the truck is a blast to drive and very quick. The exhaust is handled through a pair of stainless steel headers going into a true dual exhaust system. The rear end is a GM 10 bolt. The wheels are period correct with steel Chevrolet hub caps wrapped with newer bias ply wide white wall tires. The single side mount spare is an older tire with some dry rot. VIN number is K6691489 and the truck is being sold on a clean Texas title.
