First-generation Camaro debuted in September 1966, for the 1967 model year, up to 1969 on a new rear-wheel drive GM F-body platform and would be available as a 2-door, 2+2 seating, coupe or convertible with a choice of 250 cu in inline-6 and 302 cu in, 307 cu in, 327 cu in, 350 cu in, or 396 cu in V8 powerplants. Therefore, the Camaro was touted as having the same conventional rear-drive, front-engine configuration as Mustang and Chevy II Nova. The same goes for the carpet which shows a few spots of wear but not tears. There has been a dash pad installed as well as a newer wood steering wheel. Sunpro gauges include oil pressure, volts and water temperature. There has been a digital "Classic Look" AM/FM radio installed with speakers in the doors. Under the hood, the 396 Cu In big block runs great and has tons of power. Connected to the 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive, the car is a blast to drive and very streetable with its 3.73 gears. This goes back to a 10 bolt rear end. The motor is cooled with an aluminum radiator with electric fans. Options under the hood include power steering, power brakes, headers, Edelbrock 4bbl carb and intake. All four brakes are discs with cross drilled rotors. The wheels are rally wheel wrapped with BF Goodrich Radial T/A's that are all new and in great condition.
