This is a 1952 MG TD Convertible that is in fantastic condition. MG's basic roadster was little changed from its 1950 debut and this example looks stunning in its light green with red trim color combination. The front grill has been finished in red and looks great with only minor chips, as seen in the photos. The chrome on the roadster is in great condition. It has the original headlamps and period chrome luggage rack. The green paint is in terrific condition and fresh from a restoration performed in 2010 by the same loving owner of 30 years and has been in Arizona since 1984! The body has been outlined by red leather trim, which looks beautiful! There are no major dings or imperfections to the body. The cloth top and tonneau cover are in excellent condition, as well! The chrome bumpers only have faint, minor scratching, due to age, and no obvious signs of pitting to be found. It should be noted that the wipers are inoperable. The red leather seats are just as fantastic as the rest of the car with no major signs of wear or tear. There are no holes or tears to be found. The mahogany dash is very solid as well, with no cracks or stress marks at all. The doors are finished in red leather as well and look wonderful, as does the black carpet. The engine runs great and starts right up with a pull of the starter button. It has a 76 horsepower 1250cc inline four cylinder that is original for the car. The engine number is XPAG TD2 16830. The engine is very, very clean and the engine bay is tidy and detailed. There is a full size spare on the back. The 15" chrome knockoff style wheels are wrapped with newer 165R15 Dunlop tires that have plenty of life left to them. This MG runs out and drives down the road very nicely and shifts and brakes with no problems. Be prepared to get thumbs up anywhere you take her. This is a 50+ year old classic that can be driven just about anywhere with no worries.
