Description

The 1967 Mustang brought the first major redesign. Although it was longer and wider, the Mustang kept the same wheelbase of 108 inches. The grill opening was made larger to give the Mustang a meaner look, as the rear taillight panel was concave. The fastback now reached all the way to the rear of the trunk, and on all three models you could find simulated panel scoops on the rear quarters. Optional front disc brakes came with power assist, and the '67 Mustang was the first vehicle to use a dual hydraulic system. The front suspension was also redesigned and widened to give the car an overall smoother ride. This particular 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible has benefited from a newer restoration. It has been refinished in desired Red base clear that is in excellent condition with no major or imperfections to speak of. Both front and rear chrome bumpers are in very good overall condition with no damage or major pitting to speak of. The interior has been refinished in black vinyl and looks very good. The seats show no rips or tears. The carpet and dash are both in great shape with no major imperfections. The door panels are equally as nice. Lights, blinkers, wipers and horn all work as they should. The vehicle is also equipped with a power top and center console. Under the hood you will find a 289 V8. The motor is nicely detailed with the correct paint colors. With the turn of the key, the engine starts with no problems. The vehicle is also equipped with an automatic transmission and power steering to make it a joy to drive. Inside the trunk the vehicle retains a spare tire and newer trunk mat. The underside is clean and solid with no rust or rot. It is in great condition. The VIN is 7R03C214014, the current mileage shows 3937 and is said to be after restoration. The vehicle is being sold on a clean Missouri title.
