The 29th of 39 created, it is currently registered as a street rod. R Motor Sport and EVA Sportscars created these hot-rod inspired roadsters and "borrows a bit of styling of the Lotus 7, Catherham 7 and Birkin, and maybe a touch of Jaguar" according to an article in Kit Car Illustrated magazine. These 2,100-pound cars combine '70s vintage engines with the aerodynamic body styles of hot rods. While available in kit form, this speedster was hand-assembled by the distributor and has been with the same loving owner throughout the past decade. Finished in a dark green, the exterior paint on this hand-laminated fiberglass body looks fantastic. The roadster sits on four Boyd Carrington B. Blaster wheels wrapped with Fuzion ZRi tires measuring 245/50R16 (rear) and 225/50R16 (front). This Diva comes with its own tonneau cover. The interior seats are Sienna-colored leather with Schroth harnesses. This compliments the top-quality English wool carpeting. The steering wheel is a removable Lecarra wheel. A set of VDO gauges helps monitor this roadster on the open road, and a Pioneer stereo with remote head unit is installed. Under the hood, a 350-CID Chevrolet small-block V8 powers this roadster with approximately 400 HP that can go 0 to 60 mph in less than four seconds! The engine, which has been outfitted with an Edelbrock Performer cam, is mated with the optional three-speed automatic transmission. The engine is equipped with an HEI ignition and a dual line Holley 700 Street Avenger four-barrel carburetor all in a clean engine bay. The car is equipped with rack and pinion steering for precise maneuvering. This eye-opening roadster will look great in any collection looking for hot rod vibe.
