This Firebird was transformed into a Trans Am, and the vehicle was originally from the dry state of Arizona.The first generation of Pontiac Firebirds lasted only two year, but those two years were the beginning of a flagship muscle car. The Trans Am package debuted in 1969. The Trans Am was a specialty package for the Firebird, typically upgrading handling, suspension and horsepower as well as minor appearance modifications such as exclusive hoods, spoilers, fog lights and wheels. Four distinct generations were produced between 1969 and 2002. These cars were built on the F-body platform, which was also shared by the Chevrolet Camaro.According to previous accounts, this Trans Am was originally a straight Firebird from Arizona. The exterior is the correct Cameo White with dual Tyrol Blue stripes - the only color for the first year of the Trans Am package.
