The 1967 Mustang brought the first major redesign. Although it was longer and wider, the Mustang kept the same wheel base of 108 inches. The grille opening was made larger to give the Mustang a meaner look as the rear taillight panel was concave. The fastback now reached all the way to the rear of the trunk, and on all three models you could find simulated panel scoops on the rear quarters. Optional front disc brakes came with power assist, and the '67 Mustang was the first vehicle to use a dual hydraulic system. The front suspension was also redesigned and widened to give the car an overall smoother ride.This particular 1967 Mustang Convertible has benefitted from an older restoration and still shows very well overall today. It has been refinished in Arcadian Blue that is in excellent condition with no major imperfections to speak of. There are a few imperfections at the front of the hood as you can see in the photos. Both front and rear chrome bumpers are in very good overall condition with no damage or major pitting to speak of. The interior has been refinished in blue two tone and looks very good. The seats show no rips or tears. The carpet and dash are both in great shape with no major imperfections. The door panels are equally as nice. Lights, blinkers, wipers and horn all work as they should. Under the hood you will find a 289 V8 with upgraded 4-barrel carburetor making it very fast and snappy. The motor is nicely detailed with chrome accents. With the turn of the key, the engine roars with no problems. The vehicle is also equipped with an automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes to make it a joy to drive. The new 15" Cragar wheels are all in great condition and have Mustang center caps. They are all wrapped with newer radials. In the trunk you will find original style matting. Mileage currently shows 14,083 and the VIN number is 7F03C203898. The car is being sold on a clean Missouri title.
