Description

Motoexotica is proud to offer another amazing custom wagon. This 1957 Chevrolet 210 two door wagon appears to be mostly stock on the outside, but when you get underneath this car and inside of it, the stock look ends. Nearly $80,000 has been invested in the car to make it what you see today. The restoration started on a solid bodied 210 wagon that was placed on a custom framed Corvette chassis. Under the hood is a 350 Cu In small block with aluminum heads that is connected to a 700 R4 transmission. Inside, you will find nicely appointed leather seats and door panels with a completely custom digital gauge cluster. The paint on the car is in nearly perfect condition. The same goes for all of the chrome and stainless trim going around the car. There has been Bel Air trim added to the exterior to give it that Nomad look. All of the trim pieces have been polished or are new and the chrome bumpers have been rechromed and are in near perfect condition. EverythingInside, the leather interior still looks as new as it did when it was installed. The carpet, headliner, door panels and kick panels are all equally as nice and perfectly fitted. The dash has been painted to match the exterior of the car and looks great. It includes a full set of custom Digital gauges that all work with no problems. The set of switches below the dash include electronic overdrive and electric fan. There has been A/C installed that works with no problems. The shifter has been moved to the floor and is from Lokar. Under the hood, you will find a 350 Cu In V8 that is producing nearly 400 horsepower. The motor has a host of add on's that included chrome alternator, A/C compressor, intake, valve covers and support bracket. The motor is fed with by a Road Demon 625 CFM carburetor with electric choke. All of this is connected to the 700 R4 transmission with electronic overdrive. The engine compartment is nicely painted and detailed and looks as nice as the rest of the car. During the restoration, the body was taken off of the frame and the frame was customized to accept a Corvette independent front and rear end. The majority of the suspension components are from a C4 Corvette that have been updated with coil over shocks. The cross drilled disc brakes are also from a C4 Corvette. The attention to detail under the car was equal to the care and attention the top benefitted from. We have stacks of receipts from the build as well as manuals and a complete list of features on the car. There are countless other parts and features the car has that we haven't mentioned. It really needs to be seen and driven to truly appreciate. On the highway, the car cruises along at 70 with no effort. I wouldn't hesitate driving this car coast to coast. The car currently shows only 801 miles and is said to be actual since the restoration. VIN number is VB57T152210 and the car is being sold on a clean Missouri title.
