Description

From 1936 to 1958, Buick's Special model range represented the marquee's entry level full-size automobile. By 1955, the Buick Special was one of America's best selling automotive series. Buick Specials are easily identified - the model range had three vent ports while senior Buicks had four. The 1958 2 door fell behind in production to the 4 door due Special to the popularity of the pillarless 4 door. This particular 1958 Buick Special is another all original vehicle with the exception of one repaint that was done to professional standards. All chrome was removed when the vehicle was repainted. The paint is in excellent condition with no major imperfections or rust to speak of. This 58 Buick Special features the rare and desired Continental Kit, fender skirts, rotating fog lamps and lots of chrome, which is in excellent condition. The same goes for all the molding and accents. The interior is all-original retaining the plastic seat covers from when the vehicle was delivered. The carpets, door panels, dash and headliner are also in great condition. This vehicle has been with the same family for over 30 years and they have maintained it meticulously. The vehicle runs and drives beautifully with no known problems. The mileage shows 93,444 and is said to be original miles for the vehicle but because of the age we cannot guarantee it. In the trunk the vehicle still retains the original mat, trim, original spare tire, jack, tools and fire extinguisher. The vehicle has won multiple awards and will be included in the sale. The VIN is 4E5018328 and is being sold on a clean Ohio title.
