Description

Totally redesigned in 1965, the Impala set an all-time industry annual sales record of more than 1 million units in the U.S., which has never been bettered. All new full-size Chevys eschewed the "X" frame for a full-width perimeter frame, a new body which featured curved, frameless side glass (for pillarless models), sharper angled windshield with newly reshaped vent windows, and redesigned full-coil suspension. The 1967 model was redesigned with enhanced Coke bottle styling. The curves were the most pronounced with the 1967-68 models. In keeping with federal regulations, safety features were built into Impalas during the 1967 and 1968 model years, including a fully collapsible energy-absorbing steering column, side marker lights, and shoulder belts for closed models. This particular '67 Impala Convertible comes with its date coded correct 327 Cu In V8 with 4 speed transmission and finished in the original color combination of Nantucket Blue with blue interior. We believe the motor is the original for the car (T0215HA). This car has been with the same owner for the last 14 years. The only reason he sold the car was because he's moving to Florida and didn't have the room to bring the car with him.The paint on the car is near show quality with no major imperfections to speak of. The body is very solid with no bubbling to be found. Both doors shut tight with a good gap around. The stainless and chrome looks great with no damage showing. Only some very minor scratches and pitting. The convertible top is power and goes up and down with no issues. The interior is finished in the original shade of blue and looks great. It has been reupholstered in the last 2 years and shows no spots or wear or tears. The carpet, door panels and dash are all equally as nice with no buckling or major spots of wear. There has been an updated AM/FM/CD player installed that works with no problems. All gauges, lights, blinkers, horn and wipers work with no problems.Under the hood, the 327 V8 runs great and is a blast to drive connected to the 4 speed manual transmission. The engine compartment is very clean and detailed and has been accented with chrome air cleaner and chrome valve covers. The car does have power steering. The current mileage shows 27,892 and the VIN number is 164677S162955. The car is being sold on a clean Missouri title.
