This truck has benefitted from new exhaust, paint, headliner and a reupholstered bench seat in the recent past. This is an awesome, seldom seen truck as it was ONE of only 2,232 produced in 1964. This is a Generation IV F-Series Ford pickup truck, which began in 1961. Due to poor market reception, the unibody trucks were later dropped after 1963. The only way to distinguish the 1963-1964 models in appearance from the later models of the 4th generation is that the turn signals are horizontal to the headlights. A fresh coat of correct Bengal Tan has been sprayed on this pickup and it looks great! There are a few minor nicks and faint scratches on the nose of the hood but nothing major to be found. The front bumper shows nicely and has no signs of pitting or dings anywhere. We will note that the horn and speedometer are currently inoperable. Inside, the black vinyl bench seat has been reupholstered and a new headliner has been installed. It was just what this old truck needed!Under the hood, this truck comes equipped with a 292 cubic inch V8, capable of producing upwards of 170 horsepower. 1964 was the final year for this particular engine in the F-Series pickup. The engine is connected to a 4-speed manual transmission. This is an awesome pickup truck that has only been with one family throughout its entire life! The original Dealer Invoice from October 24th, 1967 describes what the truck was originally equipped with and is included in the purchase!
