Description

The Two Ten series, introduced for the 1953 model year, replaced the early Styleline Deluxe series. It was actually the best selling Chevrolet model during 1953 and 1954 production years, offering a balance of style and luxury options not available on the One Fifty series, but was less costly than the 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air series, which provided more luxury and premium exterior trim. 1954 Chevy Two Ten identification features were similar to 1953 and included stainless body side molding, windshield molding, side window molding, chrome rocker panel moldings and chrome gravel guards. This particular '54 Chevrolet 210 sedan comes finished in its original colors of Bermuda Green with a Shoreline Beige roof. The paint is newer on the car as well as the interior, exhaust and tires. Documents include original purchase order bill of sale, owners manual, owner service policy and receipts showing an engine rebuild in 1992 when the car showed only 15,547 miles. Originally sold by Wills & Hajek Chevrolet in Longmont Colorado, the car was sold new, September 9th, 1954. The car stayed in Colorado until June, 2010 when it went to Arizona. The miles are said to be correct at 27,394 and the car is being sold on an actual mileage Arizona title but we don't have any other documentation on the mileage. The paint on the car looks very good with no major imperfections. The most notable imperfection is a crack to the trim on the front hood ornament at the rear. You can see this in photos. The rest of the car is extremely straight and shows no major blemishes. Both front and rear steel bumpers look great with no major damage to either. The same goes for the stainless trim, rocker moldings and gravel guards. The car also comes with the rare sun visor which is a great addition to the look of this classic sedan. Inside, the seats have been recovered and are both in great condition. The same goes for the carpet, door panels and headliner, all of which look great. The dash has been repainted to match the exterior of the car and looks great. The steering wheel is solid with no cracking and shows no pitting to the horn ring. All gauges are in good working order as well as lights, blinkers, horn and wipers. Under the hood, the 235 Cu In inline 6 cylinder runs great. The engine compartment is very clean and original with no major modifications made. The motor was rebuilt and a new clutch was added in 1992 when the car was still in Boulder Colorado. At the same time, they rebuilt the water pump, installed new plugs, fuel lines, fuel filter and hoses. The car is still on the original 6 volt system. The trunk is lined with original vinyl matting and comes with a framed picture with a copy of the owner's manual, vehicle diagram, owner's service policy and purchase order for display. There is also a full size spare and jack. The underside of the car is very solid with no rot that we have found. The same goes for the trunk and body. The current mileage shows 27,394 and is said to be original. The title states that the miles are actual as well with a VIN number of B54K049540.
