Marketour Electric Cars of Long Beach CA began production of its small electric car in 1964. The car was intended for shopping and running errands, and had a modest top speed and range of around 50 miles on a charge. This would be a perfect little toy to ride around the RV park, car shows or favorite vacation spot. Running on a 36 volt motor and a single hand control for easy operation, the car is very user friendly and a joy to drive. The body is made from rolled steel and is very solid. No rust or bubbling to the paint which is finished in the original color or Turquoise Blue. The white vinyl soft top is in great condition with the plastic rear window. Both appear to be new. The soft top does fold down or come off if you prefer. The front windshield is plastic. The car does have turn signals that are operated from the steering arm. The car does have headlights and taillights as well. All three tires look good with no major dry rot. Inside, the vinyl seat is in very good condition and is 40 inches wide. Two people fit very comfortably in the car. Included with the car is the original sales brochure, a hand written letter from the company explaining colors and taxes, copies of the original Arizona registration card and a copy of the Arizona Certificate of Title. The car is being sold on a Bill of Sale only.
