IH eventually decided to lend its hand in manufacturing work trucks and even off-road vehicles. The K models were IH's pickup line. The KB series added wings on the sides of the grill, a wrap-around chrome piece on the front hood, a hood ornament and chrome lettering indicating the model designation below the International nameplate on each side of the hood.MotoeXotica is pleased to present another bad-ass dually pickup truck to our showroom with our latest 1947 International Harvester KB-7 Pickup. This restored heavy-duty truck can help accomplish challenges on the ranch or for a night out to town.The highlight of this restored truck is under the hood. The engine is a 12-valve Cummins Diesel on a GM Allison Transmission. This automatic transmission is the same type used in M1A1 Abrams tanks, and with the 12-valve engine, this truck will roar with power as you start it up and drive it from one job to the next parade or tour.The exterior is a fantastic two-tone yellow and black. The upper body is a vibrant yellow and the lower half is an elegant black. The dual chrome stacked exhaust behind the cab looks brand new. The bed has a durable, refinished metal liner, and the wood paneling around the bed gives a rustic feel to this modernized truck. The tires are 245/70 R 19.5 inches, and they are adorned with new Phoenix USA wheels. The front Harvester emblem above the grill is original, and the chrome brightwork shines in the sunlight.The interior displays the work that went into the extensive refinishing process, yet the door and window handles are original, leaving some pieces of early post-war era behind. The bench seat is a newer black vinyl and will comfortably seat the driver and passenger. The horn is inoperable. The gauges are upgrade Stewart Warner brand and measure oil pressure, water temperature, volts, fuel, MPH and RPM.
