The car has been finished in Cranberry Red to make it stand out from the rest. This car has been here in St. Louis its entire life and was purchased new from Bommarito Oldsmobile here. We are selling the car for the original owners who purchased it for their 16 year old daughter when the car was new. The car was taken away from her and has spent its entire life in the same garage space for the last 36 years, rarely driven. The paint on the car is in good overall condition but does have some spots that aren't perfect. There are one or two places where the paint a thinner. This is not major, but it is visible under close inspection. The rest of the car looks very good. The power soft top looks great with no major staining tears. The back window is glass and looks great. Top goes up and down with no problems. Inside, the seats and interior are all original. We believe this was a special order interior from the body tag number. The dash is solid as well as the carpet which only shows some minor fading and wear. All door panels look good except for some minor wear to the bottoms. All gauges work with no problems as well as the lights, blinkers and wipers. This is an A/C car which still blows cold, even on 95 degree days. Speedometer works as well as the odometer. The original AM/FM stereo works with no problems as well. Under the hood is the original 350 Cu In V8 that runs great. It appears that there is nothing new or aftermarket under the hood except for a new alternator and plug wires. The engine compartment is in clean, original condition and would look great with some detailing. The car does have power steering and power brakes as well as A/C. In the trunk there is no rot that we have found and very solid. The Oldsmobile wheels are wrapped with whitewall radial tires that all have good tread life left on them and show no dry rot.
