Motoexotica is offering another great Kaiser. This 1951 Kaiser Special two door has been restored to its original beauty with new interior and paint. The 226 Cu In six cylinder mated with the three speed manual transmission runs great down the road with plenty of power to keep up on the highway. We have a folder with thousands of dollars of receipts for this car that shows that the car was restored back in the late 90's. The body is in very solid overall condition. The car has been repainted some time ago and it is beginning to show it's age with some minor scratches and spots of touchup. With its two tone metallic blue over light blue paint, the car looks great. The front and rear bumpers are both in very good condition with no major scratches or pitting. They both retain a very good shine. The same goes for the front grill and trim on the car. The front and rear seats are in near perfect condition along with the headliner and door panels. They have all been reupholstered. The interior was completely reupholstered restored in 1996. All gauges appear to be in good working order along with the horn, lights, blinkers and wipers. The steering wheel is solid with no rot or cracking to it. The car is still on the original 6 volt system. The engine is an inline 6 cylinder that runs great and appears to be the original engine for the car. With a push of the button the car starts right up with no hesitation and goes down the road with no known problems. The three speed manual transmission was rebuilt back in 1999. The wheels are in very good condition and are covered with Kaiser hubcaps that have a great shine to them. They are wrapped with newer 6.70 - 15 bias ply tires that have good tread life left on them. The underside of this Kaiser is free of rot that we have seen. In the trunk you will find a full size spare tire under the trunk matting. There is no rot in the trunk that we have seen. The mileage shows 15,916 and the VIN number is K511C056616. This would be a great weekend toy or driver for the days you just want to be different from the rest. Whatever you use it for it is sure to bring back memories and put a smile on your face. The car is being sold on a mileage exempt Arizona title where it has been since 2006. Before Arizona the car was in Nevada since 1996. As far as we know, this car has been in the southwest for almost all of it's life.
