If you are looking for a turbo 944 that needs absolutely nothing, you have found it. This 1988 Porsche 944 Turbo has had almost $25,000 put into it in the past 2 years! Almost $20,000 was put into this car between September 2008 and November 2008 at Parktown Porsche here in St. Louis. All of this work was done around 1,000 miles ago. The major points to the service was the annual 30,000 mile maintenance and making the car Porsche Certified. The exterior of the car has benefited from a newer high quality paint job which looks great. There are a few small paint chips and scratches showing, but none of these are major. There has been a new racing front bumper installed as well as all new headlights and turn signals. The paint on the car was done less then 3 years ago and has a great shine to it. Inside, the seats, dash and carpet are all professionally redone by SOS upholstery in Oceanside California. The black leather seats with Turbo insignia's on the headrests look great and have been finished with a deep burgundy color to match the rest of the car inside. There are only a few minor spots of wear to the inside of this car. The most notable is to the door panels. Mechanically the car has been completely gone though. As noted, the 30,000 mile maintenance has been done which includes timing belt, tensioner, etc. As well as the 30k service, the ball joints, rear stabilizer, front struts, C/V boots, complete power steering system, spark plugs, ignition, distributor and gear shift lever were all replaced. The entire intake system was also went through a complete R&R. Tires and wheels were replaced in 2008 and look great wrapped around the black turbo wheels. Included with the car are three performance chips. We have not played with them or know what stages they will put the car up to.
