A "C" meant two-wheel drive, and a "K" indicated trucks with four-wheel drive. Comfort and convenience items were added from the first generation. The side-marker reflectors on the fenders were the most noticeable change between the '67 and '68. The GMC emblems were also vacant from the '68 model. The C/K models were dropped by Chevy only as recently as 2002.An exclusive gold-and-white paint job was available when the trucks were new as Chevy celebrated its 50th anniversary of truck assembly. While gold is nice, why should you be boring?MotoeXotica found a unique '68 Chevy C-10; the quality paint job on this customized truck is a stunning, vivid Lime Green. The cowl hood covers the recently rebuilt 350 CID, V8 engine. You'll be sure to turn heads as you drive by in your ride. The truck has a 700R automatic transmission and is equipped with power steering. There is also a 12-bolt rear end.The truck stands out in our showroom and is looking for its next owner. The new owner will see how the new interior door color and glove box match the spotless, pristine exterior paint, making this find even more unique. The functional Lequus volt, water temperature and oil gauges will help you manage your fluids. The original owner's manual comes with purchase of this vehicle. The horn is inoperable, but the rest gauges are functional. The previous owner installed after-market a Pioneer CD player and door speakers. The VIN claims this truck was also manufactured in St. Louis. The former GMC plant in north St. Louis County (3809 Union Blvd.) produced pickup trucks and Corvettes among others on its assembly lines. In a 2011 St. Louis Post-Dispatch article, the assembly jobs packed up and moved to Bowling Green, Ky., in June 1981. This truck has found its way back to St. Louis and now resides at MotoeXotica. This truck was sold on a clean title, and the VIN number is CS148S196558. Odometer currently shows 88,506 miles. GET OUT AND DRIVE!
