If you are looking for an awesome 4 wheel drive machine, you have found it. This 1959 Chevy Apache 3800 1 Ton dually stake bed truck has been lifted and had a new, rebuilt Chevy 400 Cu In V8 installed as well as an automatic transmission. There is no where this truck will not be able to go with its huge 38" Super Swamper tires and updated four wheel drive system. The previous Florida owner purchased this truck over 9 years ago. The paint on the truck is in good overall condition and has a good shine and luster to it. There are some minor imperfections but none that are major. The front bumper has been painted as well as the front grill. The stake bed in the rear has recently been refinished and looks great. The wood looks very good with no rot or major cracking. The body on the truck is very solid with only some minor spots of filler. None are major and they are hard to spot. The underside of the cab shows some very minor rot in only two spots. Both of these are the rear of the cab in each corner. Inside is very basic. There is a vinyl bench seat and rubber floor mat that has been cut to accept the shifters and pedals. There have been a set of aftermarket gauges installed under the dash that all work with no problems. The truck does not have a horn. The headliner is in good condition with no rips or tears. Under the hood, the original 6 cylinder has been replaced with a newer, rebuilt 400 V8 with Holley carb, Edelbrock intake, Moroso valve covers and air filter. The truck has power steering and power brakes that work with no problems. The 4wd does work and the truck does have an aftermarket transfer case but we are not sure what brand. Please see photos. The wheels and tires are in very good condition with no major wear. The tires are 38 x 11 x 15.0 Supper Swamper's that are in very good condition with a ton of tread life left on them.
