This one of only 855 Texas example are well known for their elegance and beauty and has been lovingly well maintained and it shows...inside and out! It has been the recipient of a frame off restoration with show quality, leather interior, paint and underbody! TheCadillac Eldoradois a personal luxury carthat was manufactured and marketed by Cadillacfrom 1953 to 2002 over ten generations. Competitors included the Lincoln Mark series, Buick Riveria, Oldsmobile Toronado and the Chrysler Imperial Crown Coupe. The Eldorado was at the top of the Cadillac line during early model years. The original 1953 Eldorado convertible and the Eldorado Brougham models of 19571960 were the most expensive models that Cadillac offered those years. Finished in a deep red, this rarely seen coupe shows extremely well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. All the trim is present, complete and displays normal wear with only slight marring and pitting. All the glass is the optional EZ (tinted) Glass. The front and rear bumpers fit is extremely tight and finish shows well with only very minor scratches. The outside drivers mirror could use refurbishing as it is tarnished from age. The weather-stripping is pliable, with little or no signs of drying, tearing or shrinkage. The white vinyl top is in very good condition with the rear window in excellent condition. The original 15 inch chrome Sabre wheels present well with only slight signs of marring or curb rash. Inside, the newly upholstered rich red with white insert leather front and rear seats appear with little or no wear. The newly upholstered dash does show some buckling in the corners. The matching red door panels, carpet and dashboard are a continuation of the striking red exterior of the car and look great with minor wear. The originally equipped Cadillac steering wheel is in very good condition and functions as designed. The heater and air conditioning are present, however inoperable, power seats, horn and wipers are also inoperable, power windows, and original equipment GM's Delco radio function as designed. This nicely represented Cadillac equipped with a 365 cid V8 engine, single 4 barrel carburetor, matted to a 4-speed hydromatic automatic transmission, newer exhaust, power steering and power brakes. The wheels are 15 inch original Cadillac Sabre chrome wheels mounted with newer Classic Coker whitewall tires. Current mileage on the odometer shows 7 Miles, it is sold as is and is on a mileage exempt title.
