Description

Motoexotica is offering this rare 1941 Hudson pickup with twin H power plant that has gone through a complete, rotisserie, frame off restoration to make it what you see today. This is a 59,000 original mile truck that we just recently purchased out of a collection where it has been since 2006. There are very few of these trucks still in existence in this original condition and it is rare to see one for sale. The paint on the truck is in great condition with no major imperfections. A custom burgandy pin stripe has been added on the hood, around the windows and around the wheel wells that looks great and really sets off the truck. There is some chipping to the paint on the drivers side wheel well on the inside of the bed as you can see in the photos. This is the only imperfections to the exterior of this truck minus a few very minor nicks. The wood bed is in great condition and has a beautiful light oak finish on it. The tailgate is in great condition which is an impossible item to find. Both running boards are solid with no rot. When the previous owner purchased the car, he got all the bright work restored or re chromed which looks great and cost over $3,500. Inside of this awesome truck you will find that the seats and door panels have been redone in a deep green vinyl, which shows no wear and draws your attention when you open the doors. The dash is in excellent condition and all of the gauges are in good working condition with no cracks to the gauge glass. The glass all looks good and the windows roll up and down smoothly. The horn, wipers and lights are all in good working order. Under the hood, the big Hudson Twin H motor runs great and has tons of power. The twin carb set up looks great with its orange air cleaners sitting on top. Turn the key and push the button is all you have to do to fire this big motor up. On the road the truck handles great. Breaking is straight and does not pull to either side and the steering is tight. The restoration was done on a very solid body and frame which remains today. We have found no rot or major spots of filler anywhere on the body. This is a very rare truck that is extremely hard to find in this condition. The current mileage shows 59,536 which is said to be original for the truck. The VIN number is 1880212 and has been with the same owner for the past 3 years in the state of Missouri.
