This 1980 Datsun 280ZX is not your normal Z car. This car had a very special first owner. His name was the one and only, Jerry Lewis. We have full documentation that this car was originally purchased brand new at Bob Glinski Motors in Las Vegas Nevada on July 25th of 1980 (see photo). Mr. Lewis owned the car until the late 80's when he sold it. This is one of only 3,000 10th Anniversary cars produced and has only been driven a papered 67,000 miles. 2,500 of these cars were finished in this color combination of gold and black. The paint on the car appears to be the original 10th Anniversary color combination. There are some minor scratches and dings to the paint but nothing major or uncommon for a 25 year old car. Overall the body is very solid and shows that it has been down in Las Vegas for most of its life. There is some very minor bubbling at the base of the windshield. Both front and rear bumpers are in very good condition with no damage showing on either. All 10th Anniversary badges look very good and are not peeling off. This is a T-Top car that does not leak to the best of our knowledge. With this being Jerry Lewis' car, it would be a wonderful addition to any collection or simply a future classic daily driver with a GREAT story!
