Description

You are looking at an awesome piece of history. This 1941 International was originally purchased and used as a crash truck by the St. Louis International Airport. This is a 100% original truck that has never been through any kind of restoration as you can clearly see. The truck is powered by an inline 6 cylinder engine that we have not tried to get running and do not believe it will without being gone through. The boom and winch device is PTO driven off of the motor. It is controlled with two levers inside the cab. The cables are all still in tact on the truck and winch. The truck has a cable attached to each side of the rear part of the frame that go the entire length of the truck and loop in front. This has a giant hook on it for pulling out whatever you could possibly find. The lower parts of the cab do show some spots of rot as well as the floors. The frame is overall very solid for its age. The seats are somewhat still there and the original wood floor does show rot and is decaying. For the most part, everything is there. This would make an awesome restoration project that you will NOT see another on the road. These are the types of vehicles that bring the top dollars in the classic car world due to there rarity and history. The VIN number is K5377710 and the truck is being sold on a mileage exempt Missouri title.
