The original motor and transmission were rebuilt to new condition with a new camshaft crankshaft, and the block line bored. The car was totally disassembled, sand blasted and completely mechanically rebuilt from the frame up during restoration. This is a one family owned car from the state of Virginia. The car is finished in its original colors of Crocus Yellow and a slightly darker shade of Laurel green with some metallic in it. The body was prepped, primed, blocked and finished with several coats of PPG Acrylic enamel. All the trim on the car is new stainless along with a new hood bird, headlight and taillight housings. Both front and rear bumpers were rechromed with bumper guards installed along with all the other exterior chrome. All the stainless steel moldings were buffed and polished before being installed. All the tinted glass is new along with the rechromed window frames. Weather stripping is also new. This is an incredibly well done car that has been brought back to original standards. I would feel safe driving this car to any show or even across the country. This is a true, one family owned car that has always been in the state of Virginia as stated on the title.
